Program Three: Certified Herbalist Training
This part of the program will help deepen your understanding of Chinese Medicine by observing the effects of your formulas on real patients under the guidance of a practicing herbalist. After successful completion of this course you will receive our Certified Herbalist Certificate and will be prepared to begin your practice with Chinese Herbs.
An instructor will work closely with you, review your case studies and give you detailed written feedback to help you improve your diagnostic and herbal formulation abilities. You will also receive examples of how to organize and analyze patient information. You may also ask questions through either email or via the telephone.
This course is priced at $695.
Prerequisites
Once you have completed the following programs:
1. Comprehensive Herbalist Training
2. Advanced Herbalist Training
You may apply for this Herbalist Certification Program.
(Health professionals who have a background in Chinese Medicine need only to complete the Advanced Herbalist Training to fulfill the prerequisite.)
To become certified by the Institute of Chinese Herbology you must complete:
1. 30 written case studies - 15 are given to you by the
Institute and 15 are based on your patients.
2. Written take home exam
